Review: Night of the Demons by Scream Factory
The Lowdown:
Halloween night and some teens get together to party in an abandoned funeral home and decide to summon some demons. Shit goes bad and teens are picked off one by one. Who's gonna survive the night?
My Thoughts:
I grew up seeing this little diddy at movie stores when I was a kid. I was always afraid of Angela on the cover. Many years later as a teenager I finally gave it a chance and loved it. As an adult I got the chance to check it out again and I must say..this movie is pretty rad. Pure 80's cheese through and through. Kids go to a Halloween party and have a seance and conjure an evil spirit. One by one they become possessed and one by one they die. Simple premise. The soundtrack is fun and the acting is mostly hilarious but this is just one of those movies you wanna gather with friends and kick back and have a few drinks. I was pretty stoked when Scream Factory put this out. The print looks awesome and there are features aplenty. If you're a fan of 80's haunted house flicks and aren't looking for something serious then go out and pick up this bad boy right now.
